The V3 or VCub is a self-service bicycle rental system setup throughout Bordeaux M\u00e9tropole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service is made up of more than 2,000 bicycles distributed among 179 stations. Every station is equipped with a bank card reader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About a hundred stations are located approximately every 300 to 500 meters in central Bordeaux and the remainder scattered throughout the territory of Bordeaux M\u00e9tropole . The V3 bicycle rental service has options for 1day (\u20ac1.70) and 7 day (\u20ac7.70) subscriptions which are most suitable for visitors to the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monthly and yearly options(which includes the only access to electric bikes) are aimed at longer term residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start, you must subscribe to the V3 service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 1 day and 7 day subscriptions, a security deposit of \u20ac140 (not cashed) will be requested. Be aware that depending on your bank, this amount could be debited from your bank account temporarily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This security deposit of \u20ac140 will be fully or partially cashed in the event of theft, loss or damage to equipment attributable to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond this period, each of the hours started will be invoiced to you at \u20ac2 on the 1 and 7 day subscriptions .To avoid this payment and make the hire charge free, all you have to do is drop off your bike before the 30 minutes and borrow another V3 to continue your journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VCubs are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a 1 day or 7 day subscription but you must be at least 14 years old and it is strictly forbidden to keep a V3 for more than 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electric V3 option is only accessible with an annual V3 subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.BORROW A V3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Go to a terminal of the station of your choice and enter your access code and password. The first 30 minutes of use are free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond that, each hour started, you will be charged \u20ac2 and the final amount of use will be debited from the bank card used to borrow the bike when your access is closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.RETURN THE BIKE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
