Chenac St Seurin D'Uzet is ideally located to explore the Côte de Beauté,the Côte Sauvage and Saintonge.

Access by car is recommended. The A10 motorway exit N° 36 at PONS is 20 minutes away.

Travelling South on the A10 from Paris or La Rochelle or North from Bordeaux this is the nearest exit and the route following D732 from here is well sign posted.

Your Sat Nav might advise you to take exit N° 37 Mirambeau and follow the D730 but this is not the ideal route.

Exiting at Pons will also allow you to stop at the Gemozac Super U or Lidl supermarkets for supplies and refuel at the Super U 27/7 Petrol Station. There is also a 24 hour baguette vending machine here as well as a clothes washing and drying machine station.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Exit N° 36 A10 at PONS at Roundabout take 1st Exit D732 towards Gemozac.
  2. Follow D732 7km to roundabout take 1st Exit
  3. Continue on D732 2km to roundabout take 2nd Exit sign posted Cozes,Cravans,Royan or stop at Super U or Lidl
  4. Follow D732 2km to next roundabout take 2nd exit
  5. Continue on D732 past the Landrover garage on right and through the chicanes at Chadaniers
  6. Take second exit on left D244 3km until crossroads with D139.
  7. Turn left on D139 1km to crossroads
  8. Take right at crossroads remaining on D139
  9. Continue on D139 2km until crossroads with main road D730
  10. Straight across still on D139 on Route de Pineau until reaching Chenac 4km
  11. Turn left on Rue de Vaillons D129 just after Mairie on right
  12. follow Rue de Vaillons 1km until slip road on left Chemin Du Petit Chenac
  13. Turn right at brow of hill N° 30 is 100mtrs on left.

AIRPORTS

Chenac St Seurin D'Uzet is about 100km from La Rochelle and Bordeaux Airports and the motorway journey is about an hour and 10 minutes for both. Poitiers Airport about 175km takes about 2 hours on the A10 motorway.

CAR HIRE
